Males have one rib less than women.
And many old myths tell the story of a woman
created out of the rib of a man.
Some times "digging for old bones" refers to this story.
Some are still seeking for the lost rib,
trying to prove the myth is unreal.
And others to prove it is real.
You can turn this story both ways, of course.
