~ Yellow tulips on the table ~
The sky is gray,
the lands are white
With yellow tulips on my table
I'm laughing
because the contrast
is hot and cold at the same time
A ray of sunshine in the sleeping house...
but I prefer the gray and white enveloping me
And leaning forwards on the table
the flowers nodd and laugh with me
They whisper: "spring is nearing"
whether I'm ready or not
Whilst stronger rays
transform the house
smiling knowingly
"Rejoice in the sunshine
child of winter!"
